ARE YOU EXPERIENCED? ⚓

DITA VON TEESE
I love this woman because she is so beautiful.
I know this is a bit girly (ha!)
but she has just released her first clothing line, the Dita Von Teese 'Muse' collection.
The collection consists of 5 burlesque pieces which have been designed to fit all sizes - which for me is brilliant as I am a bigger lady ;D
Dita von teeseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee <3

SHAKIRA SHAKIRA
Simply because every man on the planet WOULD.

I started drawing today,
its supposed to be a draft of Madonna but ill let you be the judge of that! :D
Ive been contemplating making my own facebook page to sell my work because alot of people have said to me that theyd buy some pieces for even silly figures like £900! What?!? The most ive ever gotten from a drawing was £30, which is still alot
but I didnt even ask for any money haha! We will see...

Also have done some photography work recently too! But I feel that the majority of the shots arent worthy of being on my blog hahah :D
Some shots were from my friends gig at MANCHESTER ACADEMY
the band being:

Are You Experienced? Jimi Hendrix Tribute.
Theyll blow your mind.

(Few snap shots of John Campbell & Mark Arnold - Are You Experienced?)

And to finish off...
On stage dancing to Foxy Lady...

Wayne Mansfield!!
And me finding it hilarious. (DRUNK-ISH!!)

MADAME TUSSAUDS ⚓

Woman of the day:
My sketch of Ki Jeal - Artist

MADAME TUSSAUDS, LONDON
Wax works are so amazing!!!! My Dad didnt seem to think so,
he walked past everyone saying
"THAT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE HER!!"  ectect.
But you can judge for yourselves, here are some snap shots (WITH NO EDITS)
 from my visit...

I dont want to spoil it for all that want to go so ill leave it at that, but there were many more pieces and I thought it was great :D I hope to visit many more Madame Tussauds in the future.

SLUGGYS ⚓

STEVIE NICKS
You blow my mind <3
"FLEETWOOD MAC - The best music to have a shit to"
- Joe Marchant (my brother)
It made me laugh.

(Bottom image is of 'Boo the cute dog')

Today, this is how I feel on the inside.
Though I have had a really nice catch up with my gay best friend, Danny Barret (yay :D)
who took me for some tea at TGI FRIDAYS and a drink at JPS (also yay :D)

Today, I stood on a slug barefoot. I felt so sorry for it but disgusted at the same time.
Its funny how things change - now im older I tend to stay away from slugs but when I was younger I had a tendency for being 'the strange kid' and kept a cute furry slug for a pet, amongst other things like newts and mussels.
One of them was called 'Mr. Treanor'.
But they kept me happy which was the main thing. After standing on the poor, putrid slug,
my mum said squashed slugs look like fried mushrooms...
im never eating mushrooms again hahaha.

I know this is totally uncalled for but ive been meaning to discuss this for a while!
THE SIMS. MOST ADDICTED GAME EVER?
Probably not, but lately ive noticed that ive wasted more and more time on this game and I think im becoming addicted. Its getting to the point where ill be with my boyfriend Dan at about 16:00 and all I will be thinking is
"OH SHIT MY PINEAPPLES ARE READY, GET ME TO A COMPUTER!"
Because of course, if you dont tend to your pineapples, THEY WILL DIE.
So ive decided to try and spend more time living my real life than trying to recreate it in a virtual world.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.
On my next post, I WILL be sharing some of my photos from Madame Tussauds, London.
For those of you who don't know what Madame Tussauds is - it is one of my favourite exhibitions ever which is all based on famous wax models. There are several Madame Tussauds based around the world and in my opinion, theyre amazing!
Above is a photo of Rihanna and one of the wax models of herself.
When I went to London to see these in real life, I nearly wet myself I was that happy ahah. I really appreciate the work thats gone into these fantastic pieces, I recommend anyone and everyone to see them! :P

Next post will be a little more interesting since ill be adding some new art pieces/art related things and ill be discussing a topic I feel strongly about - women in the media - questioning how they are portayed in magazines/comics and on televison,
'is it right or wrong?'
Until then, hasta luego mi amigos :D

P.S Before going out with GayDan to TGIS, I burnt a hole through my dress trying to iron it... devastated wasnt even the word hahah.
